This BLACK+DECKER string trimmer is built for corded convenience – no gas, no oil mixing, no cord-pull starts. Just push the button and go. The 14″ cutting width and 0.07″ line make quick work of overgrown edges along walkways, fence lines, and garden beds, while the auto-feed line system means you’re not stopping mid-job to bump-feed or hand-thread new line.
The straight shaft with a 46″ length is suited to upright trimming without a lot of bending, and running on standard 120-volt power keeps this trimmer light at just over 7 lbs, so fatigue isn’t a factor even on longer sessions. It’s a good fit for homeowners with small to mid-size yards who want reliable, low-maintenance trimming without the upkeep of a gas engine. Note there’s no shoulder harness included, and some assembly is required out of the box.
